Jules & Gabrielle go to Bosnia on the first recce for Like Father and meet with Scout Film Edo Sarkic & Ensar Halilovic based in Sarajevo.
Jules: "We flew into Trieste, hired a car and drove down the entire Croatian coastline, recceing all the way to Dubrovnik! Afer some small negotiations, we then crossed the border (somewhere other than the official crossing point...whoops!) and visited the Southern Bosnian town of Trebinje. After Trebinje we stayed the night in Mostar and recce'd around the outskirts of the city the next day. From Mostar we headed towards Sarajevo, en route came across the village of Bradina - a potential location. Then made our way into Sarajevo and met Scout Films' Ensar Halilovic and his business partner Edu. Between them they have a lot of experience in the logistics of production in Bosnia and were an essential part of the team to have on board!"

Kirsten becomes involved as producer with a live action / animation mix project financed by the UK Jewish Short Film Fund.

Based on the stories of Yoav's own Grandfather and using a mixture of liveaction, animation and rotoscoping techniques we aim to bring this truely remarkable story to life.
